LAMDA for ADULTS is coming to The Cut in Halesworth
Apart from being a really enjoyable experience, it offers a chance for amateur actors, performing arts enthusiasts to glean new insights into
classical and contemporary plays, perform excerpts to a high standard and achieve a positive result for their work. It is also recognised as a great way
to improve communication skills and increase confidence. A positive asset on a CV.
Each Grade comprises eight weekly sessions of one hour each on a one to one basis.
Normally adults start at Level Grade 5.Grades 6-8 ( silver, bronze, gold) are more demanding.
Examinations take place at a designated centre at a designated time.
The entrance fee for the exam is extra to the course fee and is payable in advance.
"Jan is a highly skilled actor, director and teacher. She has worked as a Drama tutor at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, toured the UK/USA with her one-woman show The Sister ( about Dorothy Wordswoth). Last year she launched a poetic work WILD PATH a Sutton Hoo Quartet and a new one woman show A SLICE OF TREACLE TART.
She relishes her teaching assignments. Her students thoroughly enjoy their sessions with her and gain tremendous benefit from her wealth of knowledge and experience. She has 100% rate with majority of results being Merits and Distinctions"
