ABOUT JAN
Jan is a performer, theatre director, drama coach, speech coach and writer.
She co-founded the Eastern Angles Touring Theatre and tutored educational courses attached to The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and the Metropolitan Opera House, New York.
As well as television appearances, her performances include two one-woman shows - The Sister, premiered at the Cheltenham Literary Festival, which went on to the Edinburgh Festival and off-Broadway and A Slice of Treacle Tart, originating from her own childhood memories.
In between times she led many scriptwriting and creative writing workshops at professional and lay level, her methods highlighted in a television documentary that set out to re-invigorate the teaching of creative writing in education.
These days she concentrates on her writing and her sell-out independent workshops WORDSMITHING ADVENTURES and The Healing Pen.
Her latest work, Wild Path; A Sutton Hoo Quartet, inspired by the famous Anglo-Saxon Burial site is available now.
