WILD PATH - A SUTTON HOO QUARTET
Sutton Hoo, burial site of Anglo-Saxon warrior lords and their extraordinary treasure,
stands above the River Deben in Suffolk.
Since the discovery of the great burial ship in 1939 it has become an important centre of archaeological interest.
The site now belongs to the National Trust and thousands visit it each year.
I have spent several summers working for the National Trust at Sutton Hoo.
Its landscape is alive with the energy of its story.
My interest lies in trying to weave past and present together in one experience, so that it may be touched, felt and tasted.
